The song should cause you to feel pain – it isn’t doing it’s job if it didn’t. It’s recounts a tragic situation of a man whose heart was torn asunder and was never able to find true love again. You’d think differently about this song if you lost the love of your life to some nefarious person with jacked up eyes – adding insult to injury!!
