Just like a little kid on Christmas… or me opening a package. I have so much more fun popping the bubble wrap I forget to actually enjoy what was inside.
Pretty funny- it’s like getting a big toy for a toddler, and they are more interested in playing in the big box the toy came in instead. =)I think you got gypped on the catnip since I’ve never seen a cat pass up a fresh catnip anything. =)I have been “guilty” in the past of pointing out minor technical flaws in your drawings, so I think it’s only fair to give praise- well done on all your details here- from the nice assortment of kitties to your kneeling position and excellent touch on the “Pricey Pet” bag label.
Ha!Yes. Once my brother came home with a pair of “arctic cat” boots and our cat cookie decided she loved the box. So you could walk into his room and see a box labeled “arctic cat” with a pair of glowing eyes peering out of it.-Alexander the Zounderkite
So true. Well, so long as it isn’t a plastic bag. The day a plastic bag got stuck on my dear kitty’s tail and he rain around the house trying to escape the dreaded plastic bag was straight up comedic genius!
Haha I never thought you would have more than one cat. You look like you are off being glamorous day and night- no time for pets. 😛 Seriously though, my kids are the same. They basically would prefer the box to the actual toy or that bubble wrap thing. So frustrating!
Haha… hilarious. However, I did want to expand upon what ldjucb3 and what cbr600stated earlier. Are you turning into some cat lady who enjoys making “drawrings” on the Interwebs? Three cats now… but potentially many more later.
HA HA HA HA!! So true.
Lol…cats are easily amused with just a bag or a ball of yarn.
Hahaha, very true!
Rofl.
The simplest joys… for a rather complicated animal.

Yup, that’s how it goes at our house too. Give the cats an empty bag or box and they’ll be in heaven!
hahaha these cartoons are priceless. More please.
So unbelievably true.

just like kids…they like the wrapping paper more!
Hahah.. so cute.
r u the cat lady?
i could’ve told you that. 😛 grocery bags, paper bag with a hint of catnip always does the trick!!
uh oh, beware the single girl with 3 cats!
You’ll buy them more stuff again after a hiatus.
Funny, but don’t lump me in with the lolcats crowd, please.
you should buy toys for yourself and give the bag to the cats. everyone wins!
hahahahahahahaha love this.
Sewn with angels hair…I think I have a couple of those…
We stopped buying dog toys for our dog, he loves plastic pop bottles.

awwwh..how cute and funny..lolz
I think I was like those cats when I was little. Big boxes always made the best forts.
So true! Love it!
LOL!
TRUE!! Same thing happens here! But my cat loves rubber bands a little more than paper bags.=^..^=
cute
Those toys made me hungry x]
Of course, we all know what you really mean by toys for your cats.
LOL MY CAT IS LIKE THAT TOO.
your illustrations are amazing. and cats just do whatever they want. you really never know.
You’re about one cat away from being “that crazy lady with all the cats.”
hahahahaha at least you don’t have to spend money on toys and can just use stuff around the house.
this happens with children too
wah kakakakkaka
You should write more comics, you are hilarious!
I make my cat things. I also just give him boxes and crates to sit in. Hahaha
LOL
Haha cats are weird. But so adorable.
lmao. That’s a nice death hawk you’ve got going on in the first pic.
TY for the kitty comic 🙂
