  1. Excellent depiction of how cats can be. My own kitten, a little devil, does the same thing to me. I bought him this new pillow, he was more interesting in the lovely bag and the box my shoe came in. Love the little guy, but shopping for him is like shopping for a little kid. Might as well get him a box.

  2. lmao, that is so true. You spend so much money on all these toys, and they’d rather play with the bag. My final straw was when my cat’s favorite toy became a tape measure. Didn’t even need to play with him. He’d drag it around the house on his own and play (though I still did play with him, he, majority of the time, became an independent player).

  3. Cats react differently to cat nip.  Catnip is an herb like any other herb and loses it’s scent and precious oils over time. Also,  if cats are affected by the catnip,  they quickly become “immune” to it and lose interest.   Some catnip that has been sitting on the shelves for a long time is useless. It is said that a cat will never touch catnip that has been transplanted and not grown from seed.Cats must be enjoyed by people who are not controlling and are able to co-exist with flexibility and few expectations of the animal other its proper elimination behavior. If you are antagonistic or look at your cat in a negative light or expect it to behave as a dog,  you will never have a good relationship with it.You can also make tea out of catnip for YOURSELF and it is delicious with honey and very healthy!..

  4. That’s epic. My cats are the same way, except with boxes. They love boxes more than any organic catnip toy with feathers and dangle things. We bought them a scratch toy that spins and they don’t even touch it. Brats.

  5. My ferret had 3 favorite toys. A plastic bag he would crawl into and have me twirl him around in, a wooden dowel that he would crawl into and have me roll him across the floor in (notice a trend?), and my fore-arm which would take the posture of a 5-legged beast and wrestle with him.

  6. I love my cat.He has over 2 dozen toys and he’s usually content with playing with random things on the floor. He also fetches hair elastics and rubber bands. My grandmothers cat loves pencils.

  7. Yeah i feel sorry 4 u. Animals enjoy the simple things in life so they will amuse themselves with almost anyhting. thats why we stopped buyin our dog toys(plus he kept on shreddin them).

  8. Ah, I learned the same lesson a few years ago. Now I give cardboard paper towel rolls to my cats and my rabbit. They enjoy them more than anything else I have bought for them.
